Christmas letter from Malaysia 1964

My father spent some time in Malaysia in the Peace Corps.  I just discovered that my grandmother kept all of his letters.  Slowly I would like to scan them all, as the are not in very good shape.

Here is one:







He was an interesting writer.  I think perhaps he missed his calling, although he was a good biologist too.

I started the mail art 365 project which I will talk about another day. Here are my first three cards.

I lost my iPod. I'm moving.

I am in the middle of moving, and painting and packing and I cannot find my iPod anywhere which is how I take pictures!  

So...I will show you my first piece of mail art that I EVER made, from someone else's mail blog:

I made it to the 4th dimension!!!

This may sound silly. But I jumped in delight when this was posted.  I am no artist, but making the few postcards was SO fun, I loved it and I want to get better!  

I sent a few more out, and even got some back!!!   I have to find my iPod so I can photograph them.

Anyway, if you want me to mail me something, I will return one to you!
